“This is a book that is light and witty (a very original wit) whilst at the same time showing an incredible insight into the different dimensions of human nature….The story is engrossing from beginning to end – I could not put the book down.” -seasnowblue

This engagement party threatens to be extremely uncomfortable, in fact quite possibly a disaster. Wayne and Clarissa are a young London couple whose immediate families are about to meet for the first time. Trying to create harmony amongst mums and dads from very different backgrounds and social classes is hard enough but in this case there are eight parents, step-parents and partners to cope with.

This humorous contemporary novel spans the week leading up to and including the lunch celebration at a posh country hotel. Increasingly the events during that week reduce the likelihood of the engagement party being remotely pleasant, romantic or successful. Will Wayne and Clarissa’s relationship be sufficiently resilient to survive?

Anyone who has struggled to make something of a broken family and has felt guilty about the impact on their children will recognise such feelings in this novel. And adult children who read it will appreciate that however bad things were in their own family, it could have been a lot worse!

“Digitus 233 is a well written thriller that will take you on amazing journeys to places you never thought existed. It will make you think, make your heart jump, make you laugh, and make you wonder.” -aro

When Zeph, the adventurous son of a millionaire hid in the cargo hold of the Learjet carrying his brother Zander to camp he had no idea there was anything dark or ominous going on. That was until he watched Zander ejected from the plane onto a barren arctic island and Zeph, trapped on the plane, found himself headed for South America.

Will he be able to expose the truth behind Digitus, the world’s dominant corporation, or will they succeed in their sinister plan to control his brother and destroy the world? This is more than an action packed book series; it’s a wakeup call to the world. Will we allow ourselves to go blindly into slavery or will we stand up and fight for freedom and our basic human rights before it’s too late?

Fledgling entrepreneur Samantha Riverà is in charge of her own life for the first time and determined to keep it that way. She’s attempting to banish her call-all-the-shots ex-husband from her dreams, but it’s kind of tough forgetting the Zorro look-alike who’s willing to do anything for her, except give her the only two things she wants–another baby and his love. When their 14-year-old daughter Dani–who’s maintaining a shaky remission from leukemia–rebels, Sam foolishly seeks advice from her Don Juan ex, who, incidentally, could charm the knickers off a nun.

When Nicolàs Riverà returns to Redemption, PA, to help control his defiant daughter, he discovers he not only has serious competition for Sam’s affection, but Dani has a crush on a boy who is the last kid Nick wants her interested in. The boy is a horn-dog rebel who reminds Nick way to much of his teen-aged self.

Sam never understood that, to a second-generation Latino man, familial responsibility is número uno. She also has no concept of how terrified this reformed bad-boy and businessman is of losing her to another high-risk pregnancy. The death of their premature son devastated Nick, and his refusal to sire another child incited The Great Bedroom War that ultimately destroyed his marriage.

Now, he’ll stop at nothing to get his family back–even if it means blackmailing his way back into his ex-wife’s home to become a greater presence in his sick child’s life–and, with any luck, Samantha’s bed and heart.

Laila Levin enjoys a successful marriage and a thriving career as an I.T. executive in Austin, Texas, but she can’t quite shake her lifelong sense of not truly belonging anywhere. When her company announces a major layoff, Laila finds herself caught between an unscrupulous CEO and her promiscuous boss.

Then news of her college roommate’s suicide stirs up a dark secret involving three devious friends from her past. One has betrayed a vow, another wants to rekindle their romance, and the third is out for revenge. Suddenly for Laila, it’s 1969 again. She’s only seventeen, and she’s left her sheltered home in Long Island for college in Connecticut.

Amid protests of the Vietnam War, she’s tempted by the sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll that rule her generation. Laila gets swept up in a deceptive love triangle with two older locals and initiated into their unethical hippie family. Too late she realizes her search to belong has led to tragedy.

Laila must now juggle the demands of her perplexed husband and her baby boomer past forcing her to make choices that endanger her survival and challenge her conscience. She learns that the lines between right and wrong are often blurred, and sometimes you have to risk everything to be true to yourself.
