What does one do when all odds are stacked against you from the beginning? In Tamara Brown’s case, the answer was simple enough; she would have to make her own way. Being raised by her grandmother and never getting to meet her dad, Dysfunctional tells the story of Tamara’s early childhood years as she struggles to overcome the void left by her parents’ abandonment, which transformed her into a seemingly uncaring young lady. But was she this atrocious teenager, or was it just a way to mask the pain she endured.

At times during this 230 page novel, you’ll find yourself rooting for her, and at times, against Tamara because as we all know, some actions that people commit are justified and some are downright evil. Tamara sits right in the middle of your emotional plane as she allows you on a journey through her life, while she betrays, seduces and conspires to get what she feels she deserves: A better life and revenge. Curious to find out if these aspirations were met, or if life showed Tamara who was the boss, pull up a chair because you are about to take a trip down Dysfunctional Lane.

I was just saying that our 9th grandchild , at age 4, is being read more stories than the first 8 ; mainly because Amazon promotes reading to them with the wonderful choice of books.
The fact that they are free gifts is inspiring to us ; & combined with now having the time ; our family time is growing as it is also becoming more precious . thanks to my Kindle being so important to every day.
