“Rarely am I entertained while going through a cookbook, but this one proves to be an exception. Maggie has a great way of “Edutaining”. Entertaining while educating.” Ryan

“Very informative. I learned some things that I didn’t know and I am of Irish descent on both sides of the family. I’ll be working on these recipes to get them just right for our St. Patrick’s Day feast.” Kat

Soda bread is to Ireland as apple pie is to America.

The tradition of baking Irish soda bread in Irish homes lives on and lives strong.

As our soda bread recipes travelled around the world, they became distorted with local variations and ingredients. But my Granny never travelled. So in her every day baking she just did what her mother, grandmother and great grandmother did before her.

In this wee book dedicated to Irish soda bread you will learn all about making real, authentic Irish soda bread, just like my Granny made it.

I’m always astounded by people’s sense of entitlement. Stop whining that these books aren’t good enough for you.
Friendly suggestions of selections and authors are fine. But snide remarks about FREE not be going enough just burns me. All I hear in my head when I read those remarks is “I want, I want. I want you to give me what I want, for free. I want.” No wonder the younger generations run around acting like the world owes them.

This is a FREE Book site. The people who run this site do it as a courtesy. They have NO CONTROL over what books are free. If the type of book you like isn’t listed, come back another day.
I have actually had books on my wish list pop up on ENT and Pixels of Ink.
There are many days when I don’t “buy” a single selection. I can’t expect a FREE book site to cater to my reading whims.

I have just read He Called Me Son by Barbara Arnold. (Free book this week) It was so good that I had to read her next book, The Best in Blountmere Street for which I paid $4.99. Now I can’t wait for the third in the trilogy to be published this yeqr. Another good freebie was More Than Memories by Kristen James. These free books are great reads if you pick according to your tastes. Thanks , ereadernewstoday and Amazon for the free books.
