John Baumer is enjoying his first semester as a doctoral student in a literature program at a small town state university in Western Pennsylvania. The only problem is that “John Baumer” is not his real name. The man hiding behind that identity is an international assassin who is taking a vacation from the rigors and perils of his profession. Yet, even in small town Wyoming, Pennsylvania this functioning psychotic’s personality is catching up with him. And so is the world he is trying to escape. What Your Son Isn’t Telling You: Unlocking the Secret World of Teen Boys
by Michael Ross & Susie Shellenberger
Rating: 3.8 Stars
Genre: Parenting & Families/Teenagers
Price: $0.00 Save $13.99

What Your Son Isn’t Telling You provides a rare look at the secret lives of teen boys–a world characterized by loneliness and peer fear; one in which measuring up as a man means conforming to a code of always being a tough guy, never showing weakness, and never expressing true feelings. Too many boys feel the constant pressure to prove themselves in classrooms, on playing fields, and especially among their friends. Deep inside they hunger for family support and connection–and long to be accepted by their peers. Each chapter of this must-read book is packed with real-life stories and emails from teen boys that will give parents a new understanding of what their sons aren’t telling them.

I really enjoy all the free books I get and I enjoy my Kindle very much. I’m disable and don’t have a lot of strength in my arms, so holding books was hard to do and I couldn’t read for very long now that I have my Kindle I can read for a lot longer.
