by Greg on December 12, 2011

Here are 3 free Kindle books for this morning! Have a great Monday and a great week!

A few of the free books that will be coming out will be free for only one day but after that will still be free for “Prime” members only. Please make sure the price says “Kindle Price $0.00” and not “Prime Members $0.00” unless, of course, you’re a Prime member.

Check out today’s Book Of The Day: Jeremy Smith

When you go to download free books make sure the price is $0.00 or they will NOT be free. This is why you need to download the free books asap – while they’re still free. If you are outside of the United States, these books may not be free.

This book is no longer free unless you have “Amazon Prime”
by Lisa Lim
Genre: Young Adult/Teen Lit novella
Price: $0.00 Save $0.99

A fun mix of politically incorrect South Park and Teen Lit. Sixteen-year old Lili is on the cusp of womanhood when several things go awry:

She unexpectedly crushes on a Mormon Missionary.
Her brothers think they are ninjas.
She thinks she’s a ninja.
Her mom is doing Yogalates (a combination of Yoga and Pilates)
Her dad thinks he is MacGyver.
Her dog eats poo.

As if all the above was not enough, Lili finds herself tragically entwined in a Love Triangle, just like every protagonist in the Young Adult novels she reads.

In addition to all that, and calling Crazyville, Utah her home, things can’t get much nuttier for Lili. Or can they?

The Gorge (An Appalachian Thriller Novel)
by J.L. McPherson
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Genre: Thriller/Horror
Price: $0.00 Save $2.99

This is a full-length novel, professionally formatted with links to each chapter. Approximately 210 pages.

The Blue Ridge Mountains of Southern Appalachia are ancient. They are older than the Rockies, older than the Alps. The Blue Ridge was old when the Himalayas were in their infancy. Beautiful, enchanting as is a Venus Flytrap to an unsuspecting fly, but there is a horror is bellied deep in the serenity in those rolling blue hills of Southern Appalachia.

The Gorge, is a story of backwoods mountain culture, of a snake handling, strychnine-drinking pastor, who rises to power over his devoted flock. Of a Native American curse, confining an even older civilization of cannibal cave dwellers to within in the boundaries of a mountain gorge, hidden deep in the backcountry of the five hundred thousand acre Pisgah National Forrest.

Nathan Mires is drawn to this place, as a moth is helpless to the magnetism of a glowing porch light. His life has fallen to pieces; something has taken control of him, causing a murderous rampage, which has led him to flee into the backcountry of the Pisgah, seeking refuge from a crooked, spiteful sheriff. Soon after he arrives in the gorge, he discovers his problems have only just begun.
