Tommy starts to wonder if his luck is changing when he finds a spaceship in Deep Creek Woods. Is it just a coincidence, or does it have something to do with the comic books he writes about Space Elves, Doom Droids, and Galactic Goblins? With the help of his friends, Tommy discovers a link between his stories, the ship, and an unfulfilled mission destined to carry them into space. Yet, the toughest challenge Tommy faces is Mitch, the neighborhood bully, who claims the spaceship as his own. The only kid who has ever stood up to Mitch and survived is Muggie, the girl next door, and Tommy hasn’t seen her in years.Tommy must find the courage to confront Mitch and keep the big brute from ruining everything. And he must act now, for far away, the Space Elves are dying, and time is running out. (YA Space Adventure for ages 8-12)

Illustrated by Ryan Wright and Dee Densmore-D’Amico.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:
My 9 year old daughter met this author at a literary festival and wanted to book. She DEVOURED it. She loved it. She read it non-stop from when she received it till she was finished and I frequently heard her giggle as she was reading it.

I loved this book!! I picked it up for my niece but ended up reading it myself. I totally got sucked in.
I can’t wait to find out what adventure Tommy gets into next.
I’m not the age range for this book but it still entertained me.
I highly recommend it.
AND my niece loved it too!!
Great for kids age 7 and up!

This book does not have a run of the mill story line so it really grabs the reader. Can’t wait for the next book!
