Becky is a typical thirteen year old girl. She likes Facebook, gossiping and plenty of sleep. So when she and her brother, Joe, are invited to stay with their ‘loony’ Uncle Percy at his stately home, she thinks it’ll be the worst summer ever. What she doesn’t realise is that Bowen Hall is also home to a baby Triceratops, two Sabre-tooth tigers and the mythic hero, Will Scarlet…

‘The Time Hunters’ is a thrilling adventure that takes Becky, Joe, Uncle Percy and Will on a quest through time to find the legendary Golden Fleece.

The Clock is ticking….

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

This was the most enjoyable book I’ve read in a long time! What a rich story from a vivid imagination! I was drawn in, entranced by the story and characters. While this may be children’s book, it definitely appeals to the older reader as well. The only downside for me was that it didn’t last long enough! I certainly hope that the author will write many more in this series!!

I haven’t enjoyed a story so much since the Harry Potter series. The characters in this book are wonderful and quirky and just plain fun. I’m way past middle age, probably not the target audience, but this is a story for all ages and I highly recommend it.

This was a cross between Jumanji and The Time Machine, just terrific.. This is one book no adult would mind reading over and over again to children of all ages. This Will definitely become a family favorite, and a book to be passed down to younger siblings…

By chance, I stumbled onto the discussion of this superb book one evening, and eagerly purchased the kindle edition. I read this book to my class and they truly LOVED it and I must admit I did as well. The Time Hunters is a great mystery with lots of delightful humour as well. The Time Hunters is a must read for older children and adults young at heart.

This book is an imaginative story that will engage young and old alike. The language is rich and the characters are well defined. The plot advances quickly with many twists. I feel like I know the characters and want to see them again to find out what they are up to next. When it becomes a classic, I’ll be able to tell others “I read it way back when…”
