Arctic bush pilot Harry McNills is minding his own business and dreaming of retiring to the Caribbean–when two scientists from Cryolabs Corporation charter his plane for a scientific expedition. The beautiful young biologist Amy Tyler and her boss, the avaricious Hayden Lockwood, want to explore for freeze-tolerant organisms. Harry gets more than he bargained for when he falls for Amy and discovers an ancient terror entombed in an iceberg. A Navy team is assembled to exhume the remarkable find. But before the job is completed, something goes horribly wrong…and Harry and Amy find themselves trapped in a desperate struggle for survival.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

An ACTION packed thriller that delivers right up to the last moment. This solidly written novel has engaging characters which end up collaborating in their own version of ALIEN in the Arctic. I don’t want to give anything away. Suffice it to say that, “JAWS On The Rocks”, is an understatement! I actually had to stop myself from reading too many chapters at a time so I could enjoy riding the waves of suspense.

This a great way to spend a weekend. It grabbed me from the get go and the further along I got the harder it was to put it down. I stayed up way too late at night so it was a good thing it was a weekend. I enjoyed and look forward to reading more from this author.

I just finished reading Bryan Dunn’s Thaw on my Kindle Fire. This is the first book that I read that kept me so excited that the battery on the Kindle ran down. The book is well crafted with realistic characters, snappy dialog, and an excellent plot. It is a book that is difficult to put down.

Every once in awhile you come across a great story teller. That is exactly what Bryan Dunn is. The character development is natural and let’s you know the individuals quite well. Adding in a bit of romance doesn’t hurt either.

This book is a great read. Every chapter just flowed and kept your attention. Thaw is a book that you really want to keep reading, it is just that good. After I finished Thaw, I recommended it to my wife and she could not put it down. Each chapter leads you into the next chapter.. Thaw is a fun read!
