Secrets. Redemption. Love’s second-chance.

Hard-driving real-estate developer Lauren Rolphe returns to her hometown of Looking Glass Lake, ready to revitalize the area and receive a hero’s welcome for her troubles.

Practical-joker Matthew Paycoach is the town’s most loyal and influential citizen…and Looking Glass Lake’s most charming cowboy. But even his easy-going smile can’t cover the pain Lauren caused when she dumped him and left town without a goodbye nine years ago.

As they war over the town’s future, Looking Glass Lake’s most notorious matchmakers jump into the fray. Matt quickly loses the battle to protect his heart, and Lauren is overwhelmed by sweet memories and longings she has tried so desperately to forget.

But when a secret surfaces and the past comes back to haunt them, Matt and Lauren must learn how to let go and trust God…or lose love’s true home forever.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

Once again Rebecca Nightsong has written a novel that as reader you’ll feel the story as you read. She makes you feel like you are not a reader of her story but actually part of the village of Looking Glass Lake.

I loved this book because it had a great message and was a clean read. The author’s writing in descriptive and fun to read. The dialogue between her characters was exciting and it never went how I expected it to. I felt that the struggle between Lauren and Matt was real and I could see both of their points of view. I liked that the author lets the reader experience the story from both characters even the minor character have a voice. Definitely a fun read and great escape leaving me wanting to visit Looking Glass.

I enjoyed this book immensely, well written and easy to read. A flowing story with a great ending. No sex scenes, besides some kissing. God is mentioned and quoted quite often but it makes the story better.

This is an exceptional story of a town and it’s people. The story starts in the present but frequently looks back in the characters’ pasts. Rebecca Nightsong does a beautiful job of weaving the characters and their past and present together in a town that needs rescuing. I love how she works through the messes of the past and brings resurrection to the circumstances of the people and the town.

This book was amazing! I could actually feel the emotions and mood of the moment. It was romantic story full positive and negative emotions with a beautiful theme that will help people, as me, to remind us that we need to trust God and entrust him with all our problems. The way that I see the characters at first I got all irritated, but through the story I saw how they developed and became someone better.

About The Author

Rebecca Nightsong grew up under the wide-open skies of Idaho, where she spent long days in fluffy petticoats and lace, chasing geese and riding goats (since sadly, she had no horses).

As a bossy sister in a large family of all boys, she may or may not be guilty of making her 3 year old brother lie down on a hard strip of lumber in the middle of the pasture to take a pretend nap when playing “pioneer families.”

Today, Rebecca lives with her husband, who is a constant source of inspiration. She spends her time in her quirky fictional world of Looking Glass Lake, bossing around characters who frequently boss back.
