Sunny skies and mountains high.

In Endless Possibilities Craig’s attempts at wine-making produce mixed results but fail to dampen his enthusiasm. Life in the Galician countryside is rarely uneventful and when Melanie is rushed to A&E it’s Craig who has to pick himself up off the floor.

Having successfully bought, renovated, and sold a property they decide to seek out a new project. After months of searching they eventually find their prize, a romantically appealing farmhouse in a ruinous condition. When the slow turning wheels of Spanish bureaucracy threaten to scupper their plans they’re forced to hold their nerve.

More adventures follow. A birthday surprise ends with Melanie in tears and a festive break to Lanzarote puts Jazz in a spin.

Tasked with preparing their friends’ house for holiday letting, Craig and Melanie find themselves in a race against time. Broken bones and blocked drains conspire to defeat their efforts. With confirmed reservations just weeks away, they have little choice but to soldier on.

Craig’s easy reading style, keen sense of humor, and attention to detail transport the reader on a journey of Endless Possibilities.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

Very enjoyable! Highly recommended. This is the 3rd in a fun to read series. Well written. Gives us a glimpse into what it would be like to pack up and move to another county – in this case, Spain.

I found it quite interesting as to how the settled in and what challenges their new life brought them. I wasn’t disappointed. Craig has a way of making things interesting no matter what he and Melanie (his wife) do. Challenges don’t seem to bother them. Being from England myself, but now living in the U.S, I was curious to see how he met the challenges he faced. I enjoyed reading this book.

Thoroughly enjoyable read with plenty of humor thrown in. Gives you a great insight into life in Galicia, Spain. Off the usual tourist track but oh what a lovely place Galicia sounds, a mile apart from the Costas. Read all three now and they get better and better. Well worth a read.

This was an excellent book which I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. This is the third in the series and chronicles Craig and Melanie Briggs’ move from Yorkshire to rural northern Spain. I’ve read both of the preceding books and again, this is very nice, pleasant, easy reading and it flows really well. There are some excellent descriptions of the surroundings and plenty of ups and downs, resulting in a fair few giggles. I really enjoyed this-it was great fun.

About The Author

Craig left fulltime education aged eighteen and began a career in retail. At the age of 28 he found his true vocation after buying into a small printing business. After 13 years of blood, sweat, and holding back the tears he sold up to pursue his dream

In May 2002 Craig, his wife Melanie, and their pet dog Jazz, squeezed all their worldly goods into their aging executive saloon and headed off to Spain. Not for them the tourist packed Costas of the Mediterranean coast or the hills of Andalusia, no, they headed for Galicia – a remote and little known region in the northwest corner of Spain.

Craig began writing a weekly column for an online magazine in 2004. Journey to a Dream is Craig’s first book. It tells the story of a turbulent first 12 months in Galicia, but this was just the start of their adventure, so there are plenty more stories to tell.
