Love may cover a multitude of sins, but not knowing all the facts can also get a man killed.

A family calamity gathers the clan, then a dying request tests loyalties and changes lives. New York City’s posh society, living on a rugged Texas hill country ranch, and the isolation of Alaska’s frozen tundra share little commonality and make going from one to another difficult at best.

Still, destiny drives Crockett and his sister Charlotte where neither wants to go or thinks they belong. Second and third generations of the Buckmeyer progeny encounter danger, challenges, heartaches, and joys. But then reunions are all the sweeter for it.

This tale continues the breathtaking—and sometimes heartbreaking—family saga of the Buckmeyers, Baylors, and Nightingales that readers around the world have come to love.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

Covering Love was a remarkable story filled with all the extended Buckmeyer’s family members with four of the younger ones love story being shared. McAdoo had great plots for each character and their own story that brought laughter and tears throughout this great historical romance.

Ms. McAdoo is a great story teller and was able to juggle four story lines without too much confusion. There were sad times as well as happy ones. I liked getting to know all the characters, and little Evie was especially a delight.

Another great tale by Caryl McAdoo. The way she weaves history, story-telling, romance, and God’s love into Covering Love, makes this series a great family saga. This tale shares the adventures, heartaches, and hopes of the Buckmeyers, Baylors, and Nightingales.

Once again, the author has combined outstanding characters, faith, some family drama and humor and written a story that I loved and wholeheartedly recommend to the reader who enjoys the best in early Texas historical fiction.

Caryl McAdoo tells a story like no other. I love how she weaves a story. She takes you into the story where you feel warm and comfortable and she leaves you the same way. It makes you feel like you are at home with her!

About The Author

Caryl, praying her story gives God glory, loves writing for Christian genres–historical and contemporary romance, Biblical fiction, and mid-grade especially. In 2014, Simon and Schuster debuted VOW UNBROKEN, a historical Christian romance set in 1832 Texas, and Caryl followed with three additional novels. In April, LADY LUCK’S A LOSER (contemporary, mature, inspirational romance); September’s debut, HEARTS STOLEN (set in 1839-1844), book two of her historical Christian Texas Romances–a #1 Amazon bestseller; and in November, A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS, volume one of her new Biblical fiction series, The Generations–also an Amazon #1 bestseller.

In an exciting 2015–with God’s help–she’s planned eleven new releases! Three for her historical Texas Romances, three for The Generations Biblical fiction series, three for the contemporary Red River Romances Romances, a non-fiction book on writing, and book one of a new mid-grade series The King’s Highway Trilogy.

For every good blessing – including ten children (four by birth, six by marriage) and sixteen grandsugars – she gives God the glory. Caryl lives a country-life with Ron, her high school sweetheart husband of forty-seven years and two grandsons, in the woods a few miles south of Clarksville, Red River County seat, located in far Northeast Texas with two grandsons Christian (16) and Benjamen (13).

Thank you for considering today’s Book Of The Day – Caryl McAdoo and ENT appreciate it.
