Then she meets Mike Lindahl, a former police officer and gorgeous hunk of man who has his own troubled past. When the unusual murder of a young woman first brings them together, the pair finds themselves increasingly attracted to one another. Charmed meets The Last Airbender!

Aileen Donovan is an oceanographer with magical control over the element of water. While her normal focus is on research and fighting poachers, she’s about to go up against the stuff of legends–and that’s saying something for a supernatural.

A transport ship is missing and everyone’s eager to get their hands on the cargo. No one knows what exactly it is, but when fragments resembling coral begin to drive local residents insane, Aileen suspects a preternatural source. Whatever is at the bottom of the ocean, a power-hungry alchemist wants it, and releases a sea dragon to eat the competition–literally.

Aileen sees this as an opportunity to win the professional recognition she desires, but keeping secrets is complicated when she’s working with local Coast Guard officer Colin Benson. Her sense of love and duty will be put to the test, and when the tide washes out, it might have been better if that lost ship had stayed lost.

I also don’t like the change

I have to agree with above comments. I liked the old format a lot better & agree that it was user friendly. I enjoyed discovering new authors this way, but don’t know if the new format will generate new followers for the authors represented.

Gotta agree — the old format was more pleasing to my taste. Hope you’ll reconsider.

4 Elaine Papworth October 30, 2012 at 5:29 am

Sorry, add me to the “dislike the new format” column. I especially don’t like the limited choices. But I guess everything changes, and if you have to change, I guess we’ll all get used to it.

We are making changes to the format based on changes that Amazon is making with us. We’d prefer to keep it the old way too as it was less work for us but the change in format is necessary and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Another voice not liking this format! Please go back to the way it was. Please.

7 Mary October 29, 2012 at 3:56 pm

Agreed. Awkward and unresponsive.

8 Laura M October 29, 2012 at 3:19 pm

I too do not like your new web site. I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to figure out how to find a book. I am sorry I have suggested your site to friends. Yes it is free but I have found authors I like and went on to buy other books of that author. Please return to old format.

i think it stinks you are changing your web site to fit the needs of facebook. facebook is not the new ruler. i subscribe to the emails via RSS feeds. i never miss a posting. i, however, wont comtinue subscribing if you choose to let facebook dictate the way you do business. facebook is not the greatest thing since slice bread.

13 Joanne Socks October 29, 2012 at 2:21 pm

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Do not like the new format AT ALL. Just updated my Kindle to a Kindle Fire HD and was looking forward to getting lots of new books. Please go BACK to the E Reader News Today format…please, please, please……

14 Ann Samurin October 29, 2012 at 2:07 pm

I join with the others. I hate this new website. Please bring back the other one. It was much easier to navigate.

15 Don Williams October 29, 2012 at 1:37 pm

I believe in the old saying – If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’m afraid you have now broken it with this new format.

16 Ellen Blesy October 29, 2012 at 1:33 pm

Really don’t like the NEW format please change it back.

17 Linda Toms October 29, 2012 at 1:11 pm

Is this a halloween joke? Change it back!

18 Joyce Schaefer October 29, 2012 at 12:18 pm

I agree with all the above. Why did you have to change the format when everything was going well? Please change back, it was much easier to use, especially for older folks, like me. Thank you for considering us, your FANS.

19 N A Medcalf October 29, 2012 at 12:10 pm

Hate the new format. When something is working you shouldn’t change it. Please go back to the old way!

20 Sandy October 29, 2012 at 12:09 pm

I also dislike the new format.

21 Michelle October 29, 2012 at 11:34 am

The only good thing about this “new improved” site is that you actually have a synopsis on the books……unfortunately hardly any books!

22 Barbara Mitchell October 29, 2012 at 11:11 am

Don’t like the new format at all. Will unsubscribe if this is our lot in life now.

23 Marnin October 29, 2012 at 11:06 am

I have to agree with those who do not like this format. You need to click each separate category to view the books. The old format is so much easier. All the books are listed on one page and we only need to scroll down and view each one. Much much easier and user friendly. The new format is a real pain in the a**.

24 Minna Siegel October 29, 2012 at 10:54 am

I went to download Jared’s Island and ended up with The Hounding? Am not fond of the new look and lack of choices either.

25 Dorothy October 29, 2012 at 10:45 am

Don’t like the new format….where are all the books?
