I’m human. Stubborn. Curious. Homesick. And I’m stuck on the magical tropical island of Sceadu, full of supernatural… um… people.

I want desperately to leave, but there’s a catch, all I have to do is figure out what lesson this crazy, sentient island has for me. Did I mention I’m gifted?

Sceadu’s academy is dangerous and bewildering, so of course I’m sent there. Vampires, witches, and fairies roam the halls. Some students are so effing bizarre, I can’t even identify what they are. Somehow Sceadu keeps the dragon and bear shifters in line. And the werewolves… well let’s just say they defy imagination.
