Turn Off The Kindle Wireless Feature

by Greg on January 7, 2009

As you may know, when you’re not getting a good signal for your Kindleyou should turn off the wireless feature or it will run down the battery quicker than if you’re getting a good signal. A good rule of thumb though, may be to turn off the wireless feature anytime you’re not using it. Turning off the wireless can make a two hour charge last almost a whole week. On the other hand, if you leave your wireless on all the time, you may get to read three or four days on a single charge, depending on how much you’re using the Kindle, but you may as well just turn the wireless off so you don’t have to charge it as much.
