Read This If You Bought Finding Christmas

by Greg on November 27, 2011

A couple of readers have mentioned that they downloaded “Finding Christmas” yesterday and were charged for it. That is because the book was free and then went off of free status only a few hours later. This is why you must check to make sure the price is $0.00 before clicking “Buy”.

If you purchased it after the price went to $6.15 but do not want it you can call Amazon’s customer service and they will probably give you a refund for the book. The customer service number is 1-866-321-8851.

When I received the emails from the readers they asked why the book was not free but was in the email. Here’s the reason:

The post for the free book “Finding Christmas” was posted on Friday night – after Friday’s email went out. The daily emails include all of the posts since the previous email so the post from Friday night went out on Saturday (since it was posted after Friday’s email). By the time Saturday’s email went out, the book was no longer free. This does happen on rare occasions but it is the reason that every post has this disclaimer on it: When you go to download free books make sure the price is $0.00 or they will NOT be free.

So, please make sure that the price is $0.00 before clicking buy.

Once again, if you purchased the book for $6.15 and don’t want it, call customer service and they’ll probably give you a refund – 1-866-321-8851.
