“Fascinating! Utterly riveting; I couldn’t take my eyes off the page. Devouring the novel…” -Mallory H.

The teenage John Baptist murdered his brother. Their parents couldn’t get over the loss of two sons – one drowned in a bubble bath and the other put away in a secure mental institution – so took their own lives. But John had no regrets – his brother was evil and had to die. Electrotherapy wiped John’s memory and he was cured.

Twenty years later, John has become a respectable, slightly overweight and balding pillar of society with a wife and young family. Then he starts to remember…The Baptist is a psychological thriller that follows the psychotic adventures of John Baptist, a man born to eliminate evil from our world.

Combining elements of Criminal Minds and Dexter, The Baptist is a deceptive view of normality through the lens of a man led by reawakened religious mania and a woman driven by lust. He’s clever, calculating and uncatchable. If you hear a knocking on your door don’t let him in. John Baptist is cleansing a path for the Second Coming.

“This is a great read. It is beautifully written with some amazing characters.” -Angela S.

Daly English is having a harder time than most. Her future as an artist is unclear, her relationship with her mother is damaged beyond repair, and–to top it all off–her long-term boyfriend is having an affair. When Daly befriends two unlikely individuals–first a pregnant teen, and then a light-hearted charmer from India–her cynicism begins to melt away.

Meghann provides insight into Daly’s life and an endless stream of good advice, comforting Daly despite her own less fortunate position. Kashi proves he cares too much about Daly to let her fade into the background of her own life. After a series of false starts, their quirky romance carries them to India, where Daly must win the approval of Kashi’s family in order to seal their “forever.”

Will these friendships be enough to turn around Daly’s directionless life? Will she move past the hurt and learn to trust again? Or will her mother, once again, ruin everything she’s worked so hard to achieve?

Lieutenant Nova Whiteside, on an apparently routine assignment aboard an interstellar transport, finds herself the target of an assassination attempt. Her escape leaves her with no option but to rely on Seth, a former lover, for help.

Unfortunately, she realizes that they are now on opposite sides of an escalating war between the Commonwealth Union of Planets and an increasingly dangerous rebel organization.

In trying to find who is threatening her life, they discover a plot to destroy a distant planet – a world inhabited by creatures that are the key to Nova’s survival – and a conspiracy that threatens the stability of the Union Commonwealth.

Can Nova go beyond her strict military training to cooperate with people whom she is sworn to destroy?

John Baptist? Really? If the book is as much an abomination as the stupid sales pitch I doubt it is worth even the paltry $2. You can do better than this trash.
