“….a story that draws you in and pulls you along, wanting to see what happens and how it will all end.” -Mark P.

When the thirty-eight-year-old San Francisco doctor meets her new patient, a handsome British expat with the unlikely name of Dylan Cakebread (and an uncanny resemblance to Jude Law), she’s convinced it’s the start of her own relationship novel.

He’s an architect, no less — always a key piece of her most indulgent fantasies — and the heroine of a relationship novel always gets her fantasy man, right?

Though their shaky start raises red flags that her oldest girlfriend, Jules, is quick to point out, Sarah can’t help it. She falls hard for Dylan and it appears to be a two-way street.

But maybe meeting your perfect mate in the exam room isn’t the best opening act. Sarah thinks she’s the cure for what ails him, but soon she learns the secret Dylan has been keeping from her.

Now she has to choose between happiness and the illusion of it — if Dylan doesn’t take the choice out of her hands first.

It’s starting to look like this isn’t her relationship novel at all: it’s his.

“The characters come alive on the pages and you feel like you are a fly on the wall watching everything unfold.” -Sara K.

Dublin is a wonderful place to live and work. Experience this through the eyes of Donal, a wannabe Irish man.

He loved the place so much that he moved here, from London, in the middle of the recession hit 1980’s.

Working for an IT multinational company, he’s trying to sell computers to Dubliners. That’s not easy.

If he doesn’t close a big deal with his customer, the bank, by the end of the year he’ll be on the boat back home.

You’ll meet Harry, the sales director, who should have been born two hundred years ago. Then there’s Nicky, the sultry marketing manager. Proceed with caution here.

Try not to bump into Mannix, the sales manager. He’s rather clumsy and shy. Mairead is the smouldering Sales Prevention Officer. Be sure to stay on the right side of her. She could make things difficult for you.

Try to avoid negotiating with Len, the bank’s procurement chief. It’s not a pleasant experience. If you fancy a night out in Dublin then take Terry with you. He’s the IT Director.

He likes to be entertained. Be careful not to be mesmerized by Samantha, the bank’s beautiful Finance Director. She’s really cool.

Will Donal achieve his longed for Irishness? Will he close that sale? How will Nicky harness her sultriness for the greater good of society?

Will Mannix overcome his inter-personal ineptitude? Will Mairead finally reveal the inner passionate woman?

Will Terry get rid of Len? Will Harry get it together with Samantha?

Award-Winning Author

Most sixteen year-old kids joyride in Daddy’s pickup. Not Brian Thomas. Instead, you find him out buzzing the football team in Daddy’s airplane.

Flying is his life—it’s in his blood. Both of his parents are pilots. His older brother is in the Air Force. And he can’t imagine himself as anything but an aviator.

That is, until the bleeding disorder he’s battled since he was two years old sidelines him.

After several failed chemotherapy treatments, Brian opts for a potentially disease-curing, but risky spleen removal.

After more chemotherapy, he regains his flight status, but now he’s left with an altered immune system.

In April of 2009, Brian leaves his job at Duncan Aviation, where he is an aviation mechanic, to go home with what he thinks is the flu.

Four hours later, he is comatose and on life-support. His hands, feet, and face develop gangrene.

Ten days later when he wakes up, he must face the prospect of becoming a quadruple amputee. Surgeons save his left hand, but he faces a long road to recovery, and regaining his life.

In the rainforest, reality and illusion collide. The chief is not what he seems, nor is the substance.
