“Well developed and spotlessly executed… Bravo to Laurel Osterkamp for yet another chick-lit title that charms the reader, and leaves us rooting for Lucy and Monty as if they were friends of our own.” -Keri English for IndieReader.com

Twenty years. Six presidential elections. Two brothers. One consuming love affair.

For Lucy Jones, the distinction between love and politics is hazy at best. Both can be all-consuming, and either can lead to a heart-breaking loss or an exhilarating win. Whatever the case, if you’re seen as a loser, you probably are one. Lucy first learns this lesson in 1988, when she’s a shy girl, battling a high school bully and rooting for Dukakis. Through the years Lucy will experience stunning victories and agonizing defeats as she makes the choices that define her. Meanwhile, she also struggles to define her relationship with Monty, who comes in and out of her life like the changes in public opinion. Is Monty simply a one-night stand, a kindred spirit, or the love of her life? And by 2008, can he offer her a change to believe in?

Over the course of twenty years and six presidential elections, Lucy grows and adjusts with the times. Filled with snarky political and pop-culture references, November Surprise is about the journey we take to believe in a candidate, in love, and in ourselves.

November Surprise is a companion piece to Campaign Promises, which is free on Amazon. They can be read in either order.

Eating for Weight Loss
by P. Seymour
Rating: 4.8 Stars
Genre: Weight Loss
Price: $0.99 Save $2.00
Make sure price is still 99 cents before clicking “Buy”.

“It’s nice to see a diet book that doesn’t talk from authority but instead from one’s point of view. The author has clearly tried a lot of diets in the past. She recognizes the yo-yo diet effect and has been a victim to it in the past, like so many people.” -Damian

Whether you are working to lose 100 lbs or that last 20 lbs, figuring out your strategy for what you will be eating is one of the bigger pieces to the weight loss puzzle. This book is not a “how to” guide in terms of dieting or counting calories. It is a book about how the author manages to incorporate the foods she loves and not feel deprived and how you can do this too.

It’s about getting real with why we’ve failed on previous diets and finally creating a plan that can work for us long term and get the weight off in a way that is fun and realistic. This book, like the previous volumes, is a quick read told from a very real perspective.

21 year old Christian Reingold believed he had a normal life with normal problems. One night, in a small boat out on the water on the North Cape of New Zealand, Christian discovers that he was wrong. Since the very day of his birth, Christian has been hunted. Pursued with callous intent, by a hidden hand that will stop at nothing to end his life.

A kind and gentle widower, Christian’s father Joseph, the only one who knows the true peril his son is in, had for 20 years traversed the world to keep his son safe, and none the wiser as to the deadly secret of his past. Until one day when it finally catches up with him. The day when ‘they’ find Christian once again, and neither he, nor those he loves are spared from the dark hand of their merciless intent. In a world he no longer recognises, Christian must discover the truth of his past, who he really is, and why forces have hunted him from his very cradle, before they find him, and carry out their vicious aims.

The Adventure Tournament

This is the debut novel of Nicholas Andrews. The Adventure Tournament is a comedic fantasy, chock full of action, adventure, humor and heart.

With the kingdom of Bolognia under attack by independent forces of random malcontents, it’s time to send out the army to deal with these troublemakers, right? No, first there’s money to be made! Send out the adventurers, those rogues who wander the countryside in search of fame and treasure, and take up all the good seats at the local pubs. Then, organize brackets, stage it for the public’s entertainment, offer a prize and call it The Adventure Tournament.

Remy Fairwyn is a ne’er-do-well academic who really wants to become an adventurer. When he hears of the tournament, he jumps at the opportunity, only to find himself out of the frying pan and in the fire. Add ingredients like corrupt organizations, professional wrestlers, narcoleptic thieves, drama kings and malfunctioning magical minutia, and his venture quickly becomes a recipe for disaster. Nevertheless, he blunders his way into being the captain of his own team. Now he can follow his dream, but still has to contend with obstacles such as tournament organizers whose motives may not be clean, an overbearing father holding him to academic pursuits, and his own nonsensical noggin, which is better suited for a pack mule than a dashing hero. Still, he’s determined to become the biggest badass warrior to ever wield a large piece of wood.

As the competition heats up, Remy discovers that the tournament itself could be putting the kingdom in danger, and it’s up to him to uncover the truth before destruction consumes all he holds dear.

I too want to thank you for all your work, and for the free titles that are available to us. I don’t understand either, the ignorant, ungrateful, attitudes of those offered something for free, and their complaints about the quantity or the type. An open request to all complainers. Please stay off this site, and take your complaints somewhere else. These folks are awesome to offer what they do.

Thank you again for your wonderful service.
