How many votes does it take to become President of the United States? The answer, as Jack Patton learned from his father at an early age, is just 270… the key is making sure they’re the right 270 votes.

When his father passes away, Jack comes up with a plan to honor the man in a way that respects his small-town, politically active legacy: by becoming one of the select few chosen as a member of the electoral college, the only people in the country whose vote directly decides the presidential election.

But someone else has a different plan in mind… one that could not only put Jack in the center of a deadly political conspiracy, but could also result in one of the most audacious thefts of all time: the stealing of the presidency.

“I read it in one sitting and that’s always a good indication that I’m truly enjoying the read. Absolutely recommended.” – Shannon

Kathleen Hayson thinks her biggest problem is her mother. The only runner up—her mouth. With a wit sharper than her mother’s perfectly manicured nails, her clever remarks create more problems than they solve.

But it’s not her clever remarks landing her knee-deep in trouble. This time, Josh Colby is to blame. Kathleen’s former childhood friend has become the school’s most stuck up jerk. Before, she’d have told him to piss off and write his own stupid letter to the town slut/minister’s daughter. Now Kathleen’s escalating problems at home force her to reevaluate how flexible her principles are. She agrees to write the controversial letter Josh has requested.

Enter Rigel, a smartass magical creature who invades her room one night, promises he has come to help her. When a boy Kathleen hates turns up dead and her mother goes missing, the letter becomes a key piece of police evidence – implicating Kathleen. As she fights her way out of a web of lies, the trust she has in those closest to her shatters. In the end, she’s pushed to a terrible choice: who lives, and who else dies.

One photo changes everything…A mortifying incident in her youth has shaken sense into Cara Byrne. No more bad-boys. No more getting arrested. Instead, hard work and good behaviour has earned her a job teaching at the local Boys Secondary School, and a proposal from a worthy man.

So what if he doesn’t exactly light her fire – surely passion is overrated? When her friend since childhood, Ethan Quinn, storms back into the small Irish village he left to pursue a career as a Hollywood action hero, she’s stunned to discover she’s as susceptible to his lethal charm as every woman in the world.

And when a compromising photograph floods the media of them in a clinch, her almost fiancé reveals his true colours, CarEthan starts trending on twitter, and she loses her job, could anyone blame her if she accepts his invitation to hide out at his Malibu beach house?

Ethan loves women, but never lets his girlfriends into his heart. He’s failed at being there in the past, and won’t put his heart on the line for anyone, ever again. But Cara’s a different matter – and when passionate attraction is added to his friendship with the one person he’s always confided in, he’s thrown for a loop.

Cara’s lost everything, and like it or not, he’s responsible. There’s no fighting the attraction that blazes between them – but when the month long affair is over, will he ever be able to let her go?

“or risk loosing everything, and everyone, they hold dear.” This is in the description part of the 2nd free book (Harmonics). Now, I am NOT normally a part of the Grammar Police…………….but I am beyond sick of seeing the word LOOSING. Who is in charge of this “stuff” anymore? I know we live in a time of finger pointing & no one really likes to own up to their own errors, BUT someone does need to be. The abuse of the English language by so-called adults & “Professionals”, especially on K – 3 level of reading/spelling, is d.i.s.g.u.s.t.i.n.g.!! Something so basic, and the people committing this crime are also causing massive collateral damage and assisting in the actual “dumbing down of America”. Twenty years ago you would have been embarrassed and could have lost your job, now it seems that people “higher up” are okay with this sort of collusion with the dumbing down unless somehow they (higher ups) were made to look stupid themselves. Gee, I guess it’s ok for no one to “loose” anything, when they should LOSE their jobs……Wen yhu tlk Lek dis… it makes me want to slap you in the head with a dictionary!

~”We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” ~Benjamin Franklin~
