Whitney in Charge

Two years ago, TV New York producer Whitney Benson returned to her roots in Ohio after her husband’s death in Iraq. Her older sisters, Shannon and Regan, think Whitney needs to move on with her life. They want her to be like them—happily married with children. Whitney is tired of her older sisters’ attempts to fix her up with every single male they meet. Shannon and Regan cross the line when they arrange for her to go skydiving with the reason that more guys like to float in the air than women. Whitney hates flying and heights.

She realizes her sisters are busy with matchmaking to keep their minds off their mother’s recent death from cancer. She decides to suggest the three of them start a business and hopes that will take the focus off their constant matchmaking efforts. The sisters have fun considering several businesses from a cable TV talk show to an all-girl band. Whitney does wonder if her sisters can treat her as an equal in their new family business instead of their baby sister.

Whitney meets two eligible bachelors, paramedic Jack Hensley and Dr. Ben Spencer, who constantly battle for her affection. Which one will she choose? Both men make Whitney realize, even a heart shattered by her husband’s death, can once again be made whole.

But did she have to fall and hit her head on a rock to figure that out?

I don’t like this format. Not reader friendly!

2 Debbie October 29, 2012 at 10:30 am

Sorry….I must say I agree with the others regarding the new format. Not good at all!

3 Mary Ann Fogle October 29, 2012 at 10:35 am

I agree with everyone, I like the old way.

4 Denny b October 29, 2012 at 10:47 am

Do not change the format, the new one is not user friendly

5 Donna October 29, 2012 at 11:11 am

I do not like the new format. Why in the world would you think it is better?

6 janice October 29, 2012 at 11:17 am

Please – go back to the previous format

7 Janice P October 29, 2012 at 11:18 am

Definitely do not like this format either. I prefer the old one which took less time to use because I could scroll down the day’s list.

8 Henton Harrison October 29, 2012 at 11:21 am

I agree with the others. I can only get a slow dialup connection where I live and this new format causes me to have to view many more pages and consequently takes four or five times as long to see all your books. Please reconsider your decision to abandon the old format.

9 Nina Soltwedel October 29, 2012 at 11:23 am

Bummer…much prefer the old format. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

10 Leslie Reed October 29, 2012 at 11:45 am

Have looked forward to the original listing everyday. This new format is cumbersome at best. What is the purpose of requiring us to open a new window, close that one & open another to see all choices? Please re-work this & get back to the open, see total list of bargain & feebies, chose & close.

11 Sunspiritbear October 29, 2012 at 12:05 pm

I agree, the previous format is much better. The old maxim: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!

12 Judie Rutledge October 29, 2012 at 12:06 pm

You should have someone who had actually used the other Program. This one is like “Try1″ and when you get it fixed it will be “just like it used to be”!

13 Sandy F. October 29, 2012 at 1:15 pm

I do not like this new format AT ALL. You have to open too many windows to find a good book. It’s too much work. The old format allowed you to see everything in one window. Please go back to the old format!

14 Alexandra Romanov October 29, 2012 at 1:38 pm

There’s a new format?

15 Marilyn Snow October 29, 2012 at 2:32 pm

I don’t like this format either. If this is the way you plan to leave it, I agree with everyone else. Please change it back!

16 Barbara Stanley October 29, 2012 at 2:50 pm

NADA to the new format! Old format was easier and quicker to scan down the daily selections. Definately not user friendly.

17 Darrell October 29, 2012 at 4:27 pm

ditto, there was nothing wrong with the old site, but everything is wrong with this one. Please fix it soon.

18 Mary d October 29, 2012 at 5:39 pm

Don’t like this format at all!

19 Anne October 29, 2012 at 5:47 pm

I agree! The new format does not work for me. Please either go back to old or make this one better. Seems to be a lot fewer free books available!

20 Harlean October 29, 2012 at 5:50 pm

I agree with all the above. I like the simplicity of the old format. It takes to long to search around and open multiple windows to view the selections, And even after you get to the list you want, you read a few words and have to click on more… and open another window to search through. I have other things to devote my time to. Until you go back to the old format, I will probably just hit the delete button and go on.

21 Pat Saltzgaber October 30, 2012 at 2:03 am

Please go back to the old format. This way is not user friendly.

22 margaret krizmanic October 30, 2012 at 2:40 am

this stinks. i’ll keep the one i have

23 Marianne Popp October 30, 2012 at 4:12 am

I hate this new format, I have a busy life and don’t have time to scroll through mixed lists of books…please change it back!!!

24 Joy October 30, 2012 at 11:33 am

I hate to be a stick in the mud too, but I don’t like the new format. Please go back. It was easier to read and I checked it almost everyday. Now, not so much…

25 cindy corsiglia October 30, 2012 at 12:58 pm

dont like new format at all. cant see all the books, hard to see everything. is someone just lazy or what. i got rid of other e book sites because they didnt show books orlinks didnt go where they were supposed to go, i am visual person, i want to see it not hunt for it

26 Elisa January 21, 2013 at 10:34 am

Go Back to old format – This one is tiresome and not user friendly – i agree with everyones comment – OLD FORMAT BETTER – I am getting restless and not interested in continuing if format stays this way
