Pre-Order The Kindle DX With Global Wireless

If you’re going to buy a Kindle DX Global reader make sure that you do pre-order today since Amazon ships out the devices on a first come, first serve basis and they always seem to sell out on the first day.

The Kindle DX Global will not be available in China and a few other areas but unlike the Kindle 2 Global it will be available in Canada right from the start.

Currently, Amazon sells the Kindle from it’s U.S. store. Some analysts believe that Amazon may have to start selling the Kindle readers closer to the international markets which will allow customers to save on shipment costs by paying in local currency. This is due to the fact that shipping from the U.S. adds import duties, shipping, and handling costs to the cost of the device for customers outside the U.S.

This is also good news for U.S. Kindle DX owners traveling outside the country since they will now be able to enjoy reading their DX pretty much anywhere they travel.
