Guest Post: Dina Silver, Author Of One Pink Line

by Greg on October 16, 2012

Today, we have a guest post from Dina Silver, author of One Pink Line which has an excellent 4.6 star rating (157 reviews). Part of the proceeds from the sale of this book go towards fighting the terrible disease of breast cancer. So, if you enjoy a great Romance book, make sure to check this one out by Ms. Silver.

My book, One Pink Line, is about one story told two different ways. It’s about love, tough decisions, and family strain. But this month, it’s about breast cancer.

Many of you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM). Many of you also know that BCAM is celebrated in great detail with all things PINK!

A very close, wonderful friend of my mine who has been touched by this scary disease is President of the Noreen Fraser Foundation (NFF), an absolute powerhouse in the cancer fundraising arena. So considering my admiration for my friend, coupled with my super pinkalicious book, I am donating $1 of every sale of One Pink Line to the amazing efforts of the NFF.

It’s a tricky thing, fundraising. I’ve been known to duck and hide when the 3rd neighborhood kid in a day rings my doorbell, trying to guilt me into more wrapping paper or Carmel corn (whereas I basically throw money at the Girl Scouts. Have you ever tried crumbling Thin Mints over vanilla ice cream??). I digress.

My hope with Books For Boobs (sorry, it’s an irresistible moniker) was to give readers a win-win! A great book at a low price, with a bonus ‘do-good-ery’ thrown in for good measure. So if you love a great love story, know someone who might, or simply revel in all things PINK – check out One Pink Line this month.

Thank you so much for your support!
