Thirty-six-year-old Emma Rae Travis has been baking specialty cakes and melt-in-your-mouth pastries at The Backstreet Bakery in historic Roswell, just outside of Atlanta, for the last six years. But here s the rub about her job as a baker … Emma is diabetic. When she tastes her creations, it can only be in the most minute portions. Emma is considered an artisan for the stunning crème brulee wedding cake that won her the Passionate Palette Award last year, but she s never even had one full slice of it.

When Jackson Drake hears about this local baker who has won a prestigious award for her wedding cake artistry, he tells his assistant to be sure and include her in the pastry tastings scheduled at his new wedding destination hotel the following week. And for Jackson, that particular day has started out badly with two workmen trapped in a broken elevator and a delivery of several dozen 300-thread-count bed linens in the wrong size abandoned in the lobby. But when the arrogant baker he met a week prior in Roswell stumbles into the dining room with a platter of pastries and a bucketful of orders, he knows for certain: It s going to be a really rotten day.

A former SWAT officer turns modern Templar Knight in this exciting new urban fantasy series for fans of Jim Butcher, Rob Thurman, and Patricia Briggs!

A chance encounter with one of the Hellspawn left Cade Williams with certain unique traits, including the ability to walk between the lands of the living and those of the dead. Now, as commander of the Echo Team, the special operations unit within the Templar hierarchy, he has devoted his life to using his “gifts” to protect mankind from the things that lurk in the darkness.

When a Templar commandery is invaded and its occupants mercilessly slaughtered, Knight Commander Williams is called in to hunt down those responsible. His investigation quickly leads him to a cabal of necromancers known as the Council of Nine.

There’s only one problem.

The necromancers are allied with the same supernatural creature that left Cade for dead five years before. A creature so powerful that the Templars know it only as the Adversary.

In order to stop the killing, Cade will be forced to face his own personal demons. Not just those deep inside his heart, but also the one that left him scarred, body and soul.

The same demon that has already beaten him once before…

Doggie do Dreams of Flying to the Moon! A silly rhyming book.

Doggi do isn’t like any other dog. Doggie do has big dreams. One of these is to leave his shack in the wilderness and take Catie-Lou with him to the moon.

But what will it be like? What will he need on the moon. When will he go? This book answers all those questions and a few more.

Yes, I think you’ll agree that Doggie do is a special do with big colorful dreams. He’d like children to share these dreams and maybe – somehow – get Doggie do to the moon. He thinks life will be fine up there on the moon with Catie-Lou.

What are your ratings? On 4 stars is that 4 out of 5 or 4 out if 10 for example?

I love that you include Christian fiction in the selections. I don’t have to worry about being offended by off color language and themes. The other bonus is that when I get a book that I find is “off color”, it was free and I just remove from my Kindle.
Thanks for all you do to bring us quality reading material!
