THANK YOU BETTY .. here I am dithering about 1 Kindle and you have 8 .. LOLOL

I surely will go check out the User’s Guide .. maybe it will work on the “PC” option so I can get started while I dither a bit more LOL

Linda, you can list your books alphabetically by title or author. You can also put them into collections such as “romance, thriller, mystery, cookbooks,” etc. Call up the Users Guide or go to the Kindle help site to get directions. And Paula, the $79 Kindle isn’t the original one and it doesn’t have built-in 3G as the original did. I don’t see the price of the Fire coming down anytime soon. I suspect it is being sold at right above their cost so they can sell books. So far I have about 3,000 books on my 8 Kindles. I keep them in all the popular rooms so anyone can pick one up and read something. I have magazines and short stories, as well as books for every age so there is always something for a person to read. Now many of my family and friends have Kindles of their own.

also an easier way to loan books like the nook does on the actual reader would be nice, kindle really needs to update their options on the readers, but they are tops on access to books and free books also

Interesting .. I also wish we could include a short blurb about the book also AND I think I would like to list them Alphabetically and/or by type. It would be nice to have the cook books especially all together … hey AMAZON are you listening??

5 Paula Geist May 5, 2012 at 12:54 pm

I don’t know how my name came up as Geist only? It’s Paula Geist. I did notice one typo and it was after I wrote $200.00. After that I meant to say BUT I am going to wait. Thanks for letting me fix my typo, I did go to college:)

Hey Terry Bartolotta, I totally agree with you about all the free books. I wouldn’t call it a gripe, but a blessing. I bought my Kindle when they first came out, $189.00. Now I see all others following, like the Nook etc… My only gripe is that now you can get a Kindle for $79.00!!! That’s my disappointment. I should have waited a while:( But you live and leran. The new Kindle Fire is close to $200.00, BUY I am going to wait because if the original Kindle is $79.00, I can wait. I have alot of books I have not been able to read, but I have cancelled all my magazines so I can start reading my books. Another problem (this time a gripe) is that I have to go back and see the description to start reading them. I wish there was something I could do (I hope Amazon is reading this) to see the description of the book again before starting reading because there are others I would like to start reading first before others!!! Good luck and enjoy reading yours and I’ll do the same. Paula
