A free woman of color in the 1830s, Margaret Morgan lived a life full of promise. One frigid night in Pennsylvania, that changed forever. They tore her family apart. They put her in chains. They never expected her to fight back.In 1837, Margaret Morgan was kidnapped from her home in Pennsylvania and sold into slavery. The state of Pennsylvania charged her kidnapper with the crime, but the conviction was later overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. It was the first time a major branch of the federal government had made a pro-slavery stand, and the ruling in Prigg v. Pennsylvania sewed the bitter seeds of the states’ rights battle that eventually would lead to the Civil War.Yet, the heart of this story is not a historic Supreme Court ruling. It is the remarkable, unforgettable Margaret Morgan. Her life would never be the same. Her family had been torn apart. Uncaring forces abused her body and her heart. But she refused to give up, refused to stop fighting, refused to allow her soul to be enslaved.

THE ENDING OF THIS EPISODE PUTS THE ‘WHAT’ IN WTF?!

THE MIND-BENDING POST-APOCALYPTIC SERIALIZED THRILLER YESTERDAY’S GONE CONTINUES WITH EPISODE 8

On October 15, everyone in the world vanished.

Well, almost everyone.

Some were left behind, attempting to piece together what happened, find their loved ones, and survive.

BUT THEY ARE NOT ALONE

Episode 8 picks up after the cliffhanger ending of Episode 7, with Brent Foster making a discovery that will change everything. But what he’s learned is nothing compared to the secret that Edward Keenan is hiding.

Ryan Olson continues to search for Mary and Paola, trying to distance himself from the sins of his past. Will he find a chance at redemption when he finds a young teen in danger?

Mary Olson has no idea Ryan is still alive, and is settling down with Desmond, and her daughter, Paola, at The Sanctuary, a compound led by The Prophet. Have they found a small piece of heaven on Earth, an oasis of safety from the monsters that scour the landscape in search of humans? Or have they traded one hell for another?

Boricio Wolfe has always been a lone wolf, a serial killer with no connections to tie him down. Now, as leader of an unlikely group of survivors, he’s itching to get back to the hunt. Little does he know, someone is also hunting him. And they’re about to find him.

EPISODE 8 begins moments before the end of the world, and ends with a cliffhanger so killer, you’ll throw your Kindle at the wall.

The newest release from the author of Wrecker.

Life after prison was already going badly for Billy Fargo, and that was before he found out he’s the skeleton in a very important person’s closet.

When Billy Fargo walks out of prison he’s determined to take revenge on the man who framed him. But before he can, he’s back in trouble with the law. This time it’s a double murder charge. Living on the outside is hard, but why is it getting harder?

Private eye Ricky Willmar is dead set on finding out, but after connecting the dots he’s shocked at what he learns. There’s somebody out there on the verge of something huge and he’s not about to let a bottom-feeder like Fargo get in his way.

Fargo always said he’d rather die than go back to prison. He never thought those would be his only choices.

I love getting the free books, but, I really don’t care for the murder mysteries, or evil toned books or mystical books. I do love a good clean love story & I have gotten quite a few of them. So I thank you,,,
