The Red Feather

On the American frontier of 1813, Adela McGirth understands the land her father claimed really belongs to the Creeks, so it comes as no surprise when their warriors storm the region to take it back. Their unrelenting attack ends in flames and plunges her into captivity. As Adela adjusts to life in the village, her determination to escape and save her ailing mother remains unwavering, as does her faith in Christ.

Creek warrior Totka Hadjo, eager to prove his worth, finds himself torn between his people’s expectations and the emotions Adela awakens within him. Drawn to her against all reason, he begins questioning the beliefs that have guided his life until now. As danger looms in the form of soldiers hot on his trail, he faces a heart-rending decision.
