A spate of post office robberies escalates when a member of the public who intervenes is attacked, and ultimately dies in hospital.

A frantic search for the culprits is underway. But DI Jordan Carr and his team are dealing with local scallies who have a canny knack of avoiding the authorities.

The detectives close in as the gang starts making mistakes, and cracks begin to appear between them.

Yet whilst Jordan gives the case all he’s got, in a cruel twist of fate, his own family is put in grave danger.
