Somebody has got to die.

Nobody told DI Jack Husker that his worst nightmare was about to become reality. A killer he doesn’t know is playing a game by his own set of rules. Stalking his prey through the city’s streets, his sights are set on one man. All he needs is a single shot to pay back a debt of revenge.

DS Lisa Ramsey is left to pick up the pieces when Jack is forced into hiding. She must find a violent killer who has arrived in the city unnoticed. The only clue is a series of bodies killed in a ritual of evil. They leave Lisa wondering whether the killer might be closer to her than she could ever have imagined.
