After a lethal pathogen introduced by a comet attacks the hormones of puberty, nearly all of the world’s adults die. Abby helps her brother and baby sister survive the apocalyptic nightmare, only to face the biggest threat of all: the deadly time bomb of adolescence.

This bestselling dystopian series has over 500 5-star reviews.

Abby is looking forward to watching the moon turn purple, unaware that bacteria from a passing comet will soon kill off older teens and adults. She must help her brother and baby sister survive in this new world, but all the while she has a ticking time bomb inside of her–adolescence.

Two years after the night of the purple moon, the scientists are educating a select group of teens in a fortified enclave called Colony East. When Toucan falls ill, Abby makes the dangerous journey to the colony. Fearing that time is short for her sister, Abby soon discovers that time is time is running out for everyone outside Colony East.

The explosive conclusion to the Toucan Trilogy. As Colony East scientists coldly implement their vision of a utopian society, Abby goes on a desperate journey to find her brother and sister, and save the lives of millions.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

This series is action packed, great for old and young alike, and most importantly, well written. Unlike some other indie books that can be found on Amazon, this series is pretty much cringe free. So for all those reasons, I give this series five stars.

What a journey! It was very hard to put these books down and when I finished just now, I wanted the journey to go on and on! I loved the story beginning to end and fell in love with characters. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author. Keep up the great work and thanks for such a wonderfully written storyline.

I was first drawn to the cover, hoping for a decent book. What resulted was a fantastic book that left me wanting more. Thank goodness for the next two installments. They lived up to the first and I eagerly devoured them. Scott Cramer makes his dystopian world seem so real. He draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the last word. This will be a series I keep and reread many times.

This beautiful, action packed trilogy veritably tumbles off the page, while the skill and flow are like a well written song. It is impossible to put the books down, and when you are finished with all three, you are reluctant to close the last one, because you know when you do, there will be no more.

I have all three of these books on my Kindle and in book form. I like reading on Kindle but if I really love a book I need a “real” book on my bookshelf. As far as I’m concerned that’s all you need to know. PS: It’s not just for kids: I’m a 55-year-old grandmother of 12.
