It’s nearly midnight when Sherri Travis turns onto Last Chance Road and into a run-down gas station. Instead of the routine stop she expects, her pickup is stolen, and she is left stranded in the Everglades. Sherri is desperate for help, but the men who show up are just as dangerous as the swamp she is forced to flee into. When she stumbles upon a gruesome murder, she must depend on her wits to escape the Glades and the evil men who are stalking her.

Phyllis Smallman, winner of an Independent Publisher Book Award, brings you Sherri’s most frightening and spine tingling misadventure yet. It will transport you from a gritty crime scene in the Florida Everglades to a black-tie masquerade ball in Sarasota before reaching its shocking conclusion on a remote island in the Gulf of Mexico. Martini Regrets is the sixth book in the series.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

If Martini Regrets is a cozy, it’s a cozy with teeth. Shark’s teeth: double rows full. I have never read any other books in the Sherri Travis series but I definitely intend rectify this oversight as soon as possible.

Martini Regrets celebrates the return of this sassy yet vulnerable sleuth, and it’s like an old friend coming home. It’s impossible not to like Sherri, even while lamenting her devil-may-care attitude toward the many threats in her life, and marveling at her often-incredulous life decisions.

Phyllis Smallman’s Sherri Travis is a sassy, tough but tender character that has never quite escaped her swamp rat image. Martini Regrets, is a must read. Even if you haven’t read the others this book is guaranteed to keep you up at night eagerly turning page after page.

Great read! I love this series and Sherri. The characters went in a necessary direction, and the descriptions of the everglades and south Florida are amazing.. I am concerned that things may get too dark going forward…please don’t lose the humor!

Martini Regrets, is a must read. Even if you haven’t read the others this book is guaranteed to keep you up at night eagerly turning page after page. Sherri may well start to regret more than that last martini as her life takes a dramatic turn. I personally can’t wait for the next book.
