Teleportation. Telepathy. Superior strength and speed. Abilities she never wanted. Abilities she must learn to control.

Emily Heart used to have a normal life. A life filled with family, friends, and a warm bed to sleep in. But that was before the night of The Taking. The night when she was abducted and genetically transformed against her will.

Now she’s lost everything and living on the streets of Glassford Park, struggling to stay alive one more day. But it won’t be easy. Not when a gang wants to kill her, cops want to arrest her, and a reporter wants to expose her.

However, Emily’s problems don’t end there. Any uncontrolled burst of emotion can send her jumping randomly across time and space, arriving naked and alone. If she’s not careful, she could travel to infinity and beyond, never to be heard from again.

Emily doesn’t quite know what she is, or what she’s capable of, but she knows what she can’t afford to do — feel anything.

And she can’t afford to make any mistakes.

Get prepared for what readers are calling “a thrilling, non-stop ride that you won’t be able to put down.”

This edition contains both Part 1 and 2 of the series.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

This story has it all: science fiction, time travel, mystery, suspense, thrills, and teenage awakening. The good guys are likeable and the villains are horribly despicable. I’m picky about grammar and some novels are offputting to me because of mechanics, but Jay J . Faulkner knows how to write. If I were his creative writing teacher, I’d give him an A+/A+.

Super series!! Emily Heart, a teenage girl who finds herself jumping through time uncontrollably. She’s stuck in Phoenix, Arizona, of all places and never knows when the jump is coming or how far in time she’ll go. Non-stop excitement. Get ready to hold on ’cause you’re in for a great ride!

This series is perfect for just about anyone. If you are into action, danger, mystery, science-fiction, these are the books for you. You will connect with Emily in a very visceral way, and will feel what she feels very strongly. You won’t be able to put them down until you have drunk those pages dry.

Kept me glued to my seat and turning pages when I should have went to bed. Glassford Girl was a great read and more than I expected. Emily is a great character and you can’t help but love her. Can’t wait to read books 3 and 4.

Falconer has an ingenious way of threading the plot throughout time. No cookie cutter intrigue here, it is a truly unique story. It is a fast paced read that will lead you straight to the next book. So glad I stumbled upon the series.
