Before he slid into the MRI machine, Jake Bronson was just an ordinary guy with terminal cancer. But when an earthquake hits during the procedure, Jake staggers from the wreckage a profoundly changed man, now endowed with uncanny mental abilities.

An ocean away, Luciano Battista wants a piece of Jake’s talent. Posing as a pioneering scientist, the terrorist leader has been conducting cerebral-implant experiments in a sinister quest to create a breed of super jihadist agents…and Jake’s altered brain may be the key to his success. But Jake refuses to play the pawn in an unholy war—and when an innocent woman and autistic child are taken hostage to force his cooperation, he embarks on a jihad of his own. Jake and his band of loyal friends are thrust into a deadly chase that leads from the canals of Venice through Monte Carlo and finally to an ancient cavern in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan—where Jake discovers that his newfound talents carry a hidden price that threatens the entire human race.

The Brainrush sequel, The Enemy Of My Enemy (4.7 Stars 430 Reviews) held the #1 Top Rated Action/Adventure slot for 291 days. The much-anticipated third book, Beyond Judgement is now available for pre-order and will be released July 2nd!

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

“A Terrifically Entertaining Thriller”
Publishers Weekly

*******

This is a fast paced, page turning, totally engrossing thriller. The sweep of the novel is amazing from one continent to another; from beautiful cities to rough hewn mountains. It has a bit of everything: terrorism, romance, science, and a really big surprise.

This was a great read. Fast paced excitement with lots of twists and turns. A touch of romance with strong women and stronger men. Techno terrorists against modern day hero. I read a lot and this was right up there with the thrilling, edge of your seat books. Enjoyable for men and women, something for everyone.

What a great read! I couldn’t put it down. If you like thrillers with technology, SciFi and a little romance thrown in, this is a must read.

I absolutely loved this book! I had never heard of this author, and thought I’d give it a try. Boy am I glad that I did. It was magnificent! I can’t wait to read the next in the series, and hope for many more to be added to this series.

About The Author

Illness may have killed my career as a USAF pilot, but it didn’t kill me—36 years later I’m still going strong. Now I write about 2nd chances in the BRAINRUSH thriller series.

As part of a military family I traveled all over the world, experiencing more than my share of tearful good-byes as my family hopped from country to country. It seemed like every time I got settled into a new home Dad got transferred. I learned to make friends easily enough, but it was movies & books that became my constant companions. I’ve consumed them ever since. The result? An active imagination filled with stories crying to escape. When I left the business world several years ago I decided it was time to open the floodgates. So I rented an apartment in Venice, planted myself on a patio overlooking a canal, and started to write. It changed me forever. There’ve only been two ‘jobs’ that I’ve had in my life that I truly loved. The first was flying, the second is writing. I couldn’t be happier.

Thank you for considering today’s Book Of The Day – Richard Bard and ENT appreciate it.
