APOCALYPSIS is a 4-book, YA Post-Apocalyptic series, beginning with Book 1, Kahayatle.

KAHAYATLE
My name’s Bryn Mathis. I’m seventeen years old, and I live in a neighborhood outside of Orlando, Florida. I live alone because my dad died almost a year ago, along with all the other adults in the world. I’m almost out of food and the gangs of kids that roam around my town are getting more vicious by the day.

It’s time for me to leave and find another place to live … a place where I can find food and shelter … a place where they won’t be able to find me.

Alone, it might have been possible; but now I’ve got company. I’m worried that I don’t have what it takes to get from here to my final destination.

And I have no idea what might be waiting for me when I get there.

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

This book was awesome, unpredictable, and full of adventure. Elle Casey has a way of making her readers fall in love with the characters. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series. It should be noted that I’m 44 years old and this book would be loved by both teens and adults.

I completely enjoyed this book. I plan to finish the series ASAP! I tend to choose my reads based on the reader reviews and I totally agree with the 5 star rating of this book. Very interesting story line and a broad spectrum of interesting characters. Definitely recommend!

*******

Allow I can say is …. WOW Elle you have done it again. I could not put this book (kindle) down. The characters are awesome, as usual. I laughed, I cried, I fought along with Bryn, I loved everything about this book. It could so happen in real life. Keep up the good work and keep those fingers typing. Using your own word here…..awesomeness is the only way to describe you and your writing skills.

*******

Everything is so well put together. I love Elle Casey’s books, every single one of ’em, but she has picked up her game with this one. The story flows like Niagra Falls, rushing you helter-skelter towards literary rapids that stretch your heart-strings over a drum and strum them like Slash. Buy it. Seriously.

*******

Honestly I would give 6 stars if I could and recommend this book to any fan of survival fiction, post apocalypse fans, and maybe even all you zombie lovers out there. Regardless of your age this is a fantastic read.

I loved this book and it was a great beginning to the series. I picked up this book because of my love of war of the fae, now I pick up everything from Elle because I thoroughly enjoy her writing style and characters.

Bryn is hard core on the outside dealing with the end of everything she knows, but on the inside she is softer than most everyone around her. She is trying to deal with a world gone crazy and take care of the people in her path.

This is just the beginning and it gets even better as we go along on this road.

Apocalypse is a truly gripping read, one that I was surprised to enjoy as much as I did. I bought the book originally as I love Elle Casey’s other books and so when she published this story I thought I’d give in a go. I started the book with trepidation, I wasn’t sure whether the story would be too bleak / dark / scary for me when I read the blurb. However, by the end I was just desperate for the next book in the series! Yes, the book does deal with some dark material, however the author’s sense of humour and strong characterisation, never allows this to become too strong. An excellent read, that I cannot recommend strongly enough. Once you start reading books by Elle Casey you will be breathlessly awaiting her next instalment!

This was undoubtedly one of the best books, and series, that I have read in a very long time. Elle Casey had me on the edge of my seat throughout the series,. Great plot, great characters , all weaved together into something very special. I highly recommend this book,.

This wasn’t the first Elle Casey book that I’ve read, so I can’t say I was surprised at how amazing it was. I was surprised, however, that she could put such an amazing spin on a post-apocalyptic book. Honestly, I’m not very interested in that subject, but I was immediately hooked with this book. It was not at all what I expected. Casey brings a mixture of suspense, horror(ish), and her legendary sense of humor. Of course I immediately had to buy the rest of the series.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this book, but was so happy that I decided to read it. Awesome!!! Once I read it, I had to read the whole series! Can’t wait for the final book! SO LOVE IT!!!

Read this book, and the entire series TWICE in two weeks. Then I shared it with my 13 year old. She devoured each book as well. Every single book is amazing, fast paced and full of real human interactions. There were some dark parts, but there were many many parts that had me trying to hold in my laughter while reading in bed while hubby was sleeping.
Wonderful! Cant wait for Book 4 to come out in a few weeks!!!

I got this book free, and I loved this book. It’s my favorite Elle book. I really like YA/post-apocalyptic type books, but this one definitely topped them all. I recommend this book to everyone, and it is a definite must read!

I loved this book. It is a little darker than Elle’s previous books, but it still has her trademark humor. This series is a must read!

Wonderful book and excellent series. Like all of Elle Casey’s books, this is full of great characters, excitement, carefully woven plot, and humor. I highly recommend!

When Apocalypsis came out, I had read and loved all of Elle’s previous work and couldn’t resist the urge to buy this one. Dystopian books weren’t really my thing, but I love the way she writes and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! I absolutely LOVED all of the books in this series thus far, and cannot wait to read the next book in the series! I’ve got to say that the characters in this book and series will stay with you for a long time! I find myself now, months after reading the last book, still thinking about the characters with a smile. A definite must-read!

I don’t just adore this series, I adore Elle Casey’s writing, period! It’s genius, I tell you!

The subject matter of this series wouldn’t normal be my cup of tea, personally. But, I had read most of the rest of Casey’s books and loved them so much, I decided to give it a go. I was quite pleasantly surprised! In fact, I was floored. I always have such a great time reading her books, because they draw you in and send you across most of the emotional spectrum with everything from getting misty-eyed to literally laughing till you cry. (So, you might need some tissues?)

Trust me, you won’t be disappointed if you pick up her books. 🙂

I adore Elle Casey’s book! She is easily one of my top 3 favorite authors.

14 Amy February 27, 2013 at 9:00 am

I LOVED this book. It was slightly graphic, but good for older teens, especially. I read the entire series as fast as she could write them.

I love all things Elle Casey, but she really outdid herself with the Apocalypsis series. It’s a story that I could not put down and one that still haunts me months after I read it. I can’t wait for the next installment of this.

This did not seem like the type of book I’d be into. However, I had already fallen in love with Elle Casey’s War of the Fae series so I gave it a try. As with all of her books, she sucked me in and made me fall in love with the characters. Despite the dire circumstances in this story, she makes you laugh out loud at several points. I loved this story and the series as a whole.

18 Rob February 27, 2013 at 8:33 am

I couldn’t put this book down once I started. It is thrilling and funny. I have burst out laughing at some points and I look around and see people giving me weird looks, but hey I can’t help. Elle Casey does a great job blending the comedy into an intriguing story, one full of suspense, thrills, and actions.

19 Chas February 27, 2013 at 8:20 am

I just finished the 3rd book in this series and I have to say it is probably one of the top 5 book series I have EVER read!! The humor was fantastic even during the most trying times in this book. I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!
