“Without giving out any spoilers, from beginning to end, i ran the gamut of emotions. I laughed, cried, laughed harder, and cried harder. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and want to say thank you, Emlyn, for taking what you know and telling us your story.” – Heather C.

From her cheating boyfriend to her dead father and cold, judgmental mother, Daly knows she can’t trust others to be there when it counts. This cynicism begins to melt away when she meets Kashi, a light-hearted charmer from India, who decides he cares too much to let her fade into the background of her own life. After a series of false starts, their quirky romance carries them to India, where Daly must win the approval of Kashi’s family in order to seal their “forever.”

Meanwhile, Laine struggles to cope with the pain of early widowhood, fleeing into the pages of her well-worn library and emerging only to perform her duties as a social worker at the crisis pregnancy center. Although her daughter wants nothing more than to work as an artist, Laine doesn’t know how to redirect Daly to a more suitable profession without further damaging their tenuous relationship.

Can Laine look past her pain to learn from an unlikely mentor? Has Daly finally found someone whom she can trust? Will the women recognize their common bonds before the relationship is broken beyond repair?

Would you do it again…would you give Maya the letter? Some who know about it have asked me, as if I could actually turn back time. Would I give her the letter, knowing it would push away the person who’d been my comfort through my dad’s alcoholism and parents’ divorce; knowing that it would destroy a friendship I’d worked years to build; knowing I’d have to endure lies and unkindness from someone I believed in more than any other…

…knowing that the fallout would inspire me to attend my dream college; knowing I’d conquer homesickness and so many other fears there; knowing I’d make friends who’d become like family; knowing I’d find rewards I could have never imagined?

And Then it Rained: Lessons for Life is the story of how I lost my most trusted confidante… and found myself.

“I loved traveling to Maddie World!! This is a sweet book with a very powerful message about bullies and respect. My favorite line in the book is when Maddie remembers the advice her parents gave her and states, “I can stand up for myself, and for what’s right, without becoming a bully.” An important lesson that all children and adults should follow.” – Karen T.

Too scared to stand up to the bullies or tell her teachers, 9-year-old Maddie decides she’s never going to school again. Too bad her parents don’t agree.

Depressed and feeling hopeless, she doesn’t expect to discover the secret door to her magical world in an old box in her bedroom. Only Maddie World isn’t the beautiful paradise she’s always imagined. When Maddie, her two sisters and her dog TayTay are thrown into the middle of a Fairy War, Maddie has to learn to stand up for herself and face her fears, or her sisters will be stuck in a Fairy dungeon forever!

Will Maddie find the courage to do what she must, without becoming a bully herself? Find out with the this third book in the The Three Lost Kids Special Edition Trilogy.

i love my free books. you can even pick from the different types of books thriller… and the free news letters are great too. everything looks great on my new kindle hd. i have a sony ereader and i had a kindle 1, but at best buy you can take your stuff to them and receive a discount toward new stuff. i am not one to what for things to be delivered to me, because i have no patients. but i do buy my cases from amazon, because amazon has a far greater selection then best buy when it comes that stuff. in all those words it comes to this i love amazons book selection and cases. but best buy for my kindles.
