“Inspiring and encouraging. Anyone who desires a restoration to their spirit should read THE MISSING
PIECE.” – Myshelf.com

How does a man pick up the pieces when his world crashes around him? Misplaced priorities shattered his marriage. Problems almost crushed him. Love motivated him to mend the damage, once he found all the pieces.

After only a few months of marriage, Lorraine left Dylan on a wintry night after he’d spent one too many nights out with the guys. Unable to cope with the loss, Dylan escapes the painful feelings by drinking them away. This decision costs him a year-and-a-half of his life after he stops in a little mountain town and ends up in the local jail. When he’s released, he returns home in search of a job to get his life–and his wife back.

THE MISSING PIECE is not only a love story about a man who loves a woman, but is also a love story about a merciful God who loves mankind, even when he falls. The novel is an emotionally-charged journey of hope and redemption with a touch of spunk, a hint of humor, and a few twists along the way.

“I’m very particular about my fantasy intake, and her book ticks all the right boxes. There’s a fine line between ‘grimdark’ and ‘real’, and it’s a rare treat to experience a writer that knows where that line is.” – Jack Cayless, Author/Artist of ‘Chimneyspeak’

Little Tavera is a half-elf child in a land of humans, an outsider dragged from bad situation to worse–until Derk whisks her away and adopts her as his own. Tavera soon finds out her new Pa is a master thief, a member of an elite group of professional scoundrels called the Cup of Cream. They make their money that way, sure, but thievery is as necessary as any other profession in the Valley of Ten Crescents; it balances society. To Derk’s–and her own–delight, Tavera grows into a natural thief and works her way toward membership in the Cup. Joining would finally give her some place where she belongs, and it would please the Pa she loves so much. But being a thief means being only one step ahead of the law. When the law finally catches up, Tavera must choose: go against her Pa’s wishes for the sake of loyalty and love; or obey him and survive.

White Heat…explodes on the page. Days before the verdict is read in the Rodney King Case in Los Angeles back in the 1992, a weasely little man walks into private detective Duke Rogers office and asks him to locate an old friend, Teddie Matson. The guy is white and Teddie is black, and Los Angeles is just about ready to explode due to racial tensions, but Duke isn’t thinking about that, just the $250 he’ll make on the easy case.

A few days later Teddie Matson is murdered and Duke’s guilt meter is through the roof. Turns out Teddie was a well-known TV actress with her own show. This doesn’t make checking into her death any easier.

The betrayal has left her with a closed and tortured heart and an innate fear of the men around her. I don’t care much for this format, either, but I don’t control what requirements Amazon puts on folks like the person who puts together the daily ENT. I subscribe to a couple of other free/deal mostly-Kindle ebook emails/blogs, and they’ve gone through changes, too.

The bottom line, though, at least for me, is that I appreciate these folks, all of whom have day jobs and families to feed, who take their time to find the books and put these emails/blogs/posts together so that we can get lots and lots of free books. If there’s just a couple of books some days, and they don’t happen to interest me, that’s okay – I now have thousands of books in my personal e-library to read, so I don’t HAVE to get a new book each and every day. I am thrilled that the fevered pitch of acquisition that burned through me when I got my first ebook reader and ebook reader apps has cooled down to the point where I am more selective, but still appreciative of those who collect and code up the information on many books each day–some days more books than other days–and send the info to my Inbox. If I now have to click a few more clicks to get to the info, well, hey! It’s still free!

I appreciate that you offer such a service. I can’t think of any reason anyone should complain – free books for free – Cheez people, if you don’t like this just quit the emails. I like seeing all the possible free or cheap books available, even though I’m sure I didn’t sign up for “all”. This is a really nice thing you are doing, and I don’t think people should care if there were only one book listing sent. Hopefully, they will find their own, and quit complaining (the boy, the man & the donkey) – you just can’t please some people! Thanks again for the good work!!

Please bring back the old format to the e-mails. This format is too involved and takes too much time. You have to click on several links before you can find a book you like. Too much work. Bring back the old e-mail!!!!

I appreciate NOT having a ton of choices daily. I like to be selective when I download and I don’t expect to download every day. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the freebies!

Only two choices for free???? Disappointing.

If I check that I want to see “Christian” fiction, why I am seeing “Paranormal”, “Fantasy”, “Thriller”, etc.? Simply awful change in your whole offering! Hopefully I have enough already stored on my Kindle that I won’t have to look through this mess every day hoping to find a new author to try! Not worth it!
