“…so much encouragement for Christians who have had an amazing transformation thru Jesus Christ. Highly Recommended!” -Alana B.

Apostle Paul, King David, and Gideon are all some of the Bible’s greatest figures, and they all had one thing in common….

…they were all flawed! That’s right, these great men of God were all flawed. In fact, they all had several flaws. Why is this important? It’s important because everyone- including yourself- shares this trait with these great figures.

By examining their characters and how they were able to overcome their flaws in the light of God’s glory, we can learn to better ourselves through our own flaws and begin building our faith stronger than ever!

In “Flawed but Faithful- Finding Meaning in our Faults”, we examine how nobody is perfect and how this common trait can be used to spur personal growth.

In this inspirational book, you will see how the Apostle Paul needed time to turn to God, how King David overcame his great sins to become a man of God, and how Gideon learned to trust his faith when he originally needed proof of God’s amazing love.

Many of us struggle with sins and our faith from time-to-time, and we are not alone. This important look at the Bible reminds us of that and encourages us to do better.

God knows you aren’t perfect, just as he knew these Bible figures were not perfect. He was patient with them and loved them regardless, and He will welcome you in the same way.

Learn to embrace imperfection, trust your faith, undergo tremendous personal growth, and become a stronger Christian in this inspirational book.

An in-depth look at some of the Bible’s greatest stories about imperfection and how it relates to our modern lives complements the author’s intelligent commentary to show you the path to a stronger faith.

Raised on a farm outside of Westchester County, Tabitha Salt, the daughter of Irish immigrants, leads a sheltered existence.

When tragedy strikes the family, the ten year old and her mother are forced to move to the notorious Five Points District in New York City.

Known for its brothels, gangs, gambling halls, corrupt politicians, and thieves, the Five Points is a chaotic slum. The women find work as laundresses, struggling every day to survive in their squalid living conditions.

When tragedy strikes again, Tabitha finds herself on the streets of New York City, alone. Summoning her courage and willing her legs that are numb with fear and grief to move, she takes to a life on the streets.

Stealing food and running from the law, Tabitha dreams of the future.

During this time the Sisters of Charity were plucking orphans off the streets with promises of a new life. Children were told to forget their pasts, including their religious beliefs, families, and names.

They were to become Christian and were given new identities, only then could they board the orphan trains. The orphan trains carried the destitute children out west in search of new homes.

Siblings were often ripped apart and many didn’t find homes but became indentured workers in exchange for room and board.

The looming decision would alter her life course; boarding the train meant leaving everything and everyone she knew behind. Vulnerable and afraid she made her decision.

The story is a true to life chronicle reflecting the saga of hundreds of thousands of homeless or neglected children who were placed on orphan trains from 1854 to 1929.

The orphan train movement led to numerous reforms having to do with welfare and child labor laws. Many people believe it is the origin of modern foster care.

Seagate and Miner investigate the murder of Maricel Salizar, a young Filipino exchange student at Central Montana State. The most obvious suspect is the boyfriend, who happens to have gang connections.

And then there’s Amber, a fellow student who’s obviously incensed at Maricel for a sexual indiscretion involving Amber’s boyfriend. But the evidence keeps leading Seagate and Miner back to the professor, an LDS bishop who hosted her in his dysfunctional home.

Seagate takes it in stride that the professor can’t seem to tell the truth about his relationship with the victim, but her devout partner, Ryan Miner, believes that a high-ranking fellow Mormon who violates a sacred trust deserves special punishment.
