In a future where humanity’s empire expands across the stars, Thad Jaron finds himself ensnared in a web of corporate greed and alien intrigue that could shatter the Triad Empire.

Controlled by an invasive mind implant that compels him to obey his unscrupulous boss, Thad is tasked with capturing members of the pressers, an enigmatic race from the newly-discovered planet Frobe.

As he witnesses the pressers’ uncanny ability to see their own futures, Thad quickly realizes that their astonishing powers make them both invaluable, and dangerous. Returning to Earth with the captured aliens, the troubled man must now confront his own identity and the dark intentions of his employer, who seeks to exploit the pressers’ visions for profit.
