The old world is gone. And so are his parents.

A year after a virus decimated the world’s population, Andrew, a sixteen-year-old kid from northern California, finds his parents murdered by a rogue militia. With his hometown under siege, he is forced to escape into the unforgiving Nevada desert.

Andrew’s fight for survival takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Kaya, a fiery and fiercely independent city girl with her own demons to face.
