Scattered Prey

The old world is gone.

A virus has claimed the lives of nearly every person on the planet the few left behind are doing whatever it takes to survive. After surviving wolf attacks and the bloodthirsty commander of the Restored Republic, Andrew and Kaya have joined Avery and his plan to journey to South America to escape the fallout from the soon-to-be-defunct nuclear power plants scattered across North America.

However, first, they must stop in Reno to find Avery’s sister and see if she’s still alive. There, they meet two college girls living inside the city, trying to avoid a foe that Andrew and Kaya are all too familiar with—the Restored Republic. After getting too close to their militarized compound in an attempt to find Avery’s sister, Avery is mortally wounded, and Andrew is captured.
